Don't panic about it too much. You will have the chance to do those quests again when they pop up eventually.

We're not panicking, we're just disgruntled that our Legendary Guardian with perks will take a month longer .
No, really, I love the z-quests. However, I'm finding myself skipping the recent repeat missions (like today's Minister Cho's Estate) because I did it the first time around. Seems to me like after a full mission rotation only the big reward or 2 minute to complete missions will be done. Therefore, maybe it's good that it's taking longer to finish now, keeps more people in the game (even though it might be just to check which mission is up ).

Yes, but truly how difficult would it be to manually edit whatever file stores this information to restore things so there are no repeats? It seems like a fairly small thing (I am probably wrong), but clearly it's causing people to not enjoy the game.
Is it that hard to change this? It would probably make a lot of people happier right now. In fact, I know a number of people who got back into the game because of these. It was a casual 30 minute thing to do and then log off. I personally thought it was a great way to renew interest in the game. No surprise, most of these people are not doing the repeats and thus the game is going to get stagnate again.
If someone could explain to us why this isn't possible, I'm pretty sure most of us wouldn't be as frustrated then. Just telling us to 'wait till they show up' seems a bit disingenuous.

It's a small hiccup that basically set back some of the quests by like, a week. You only missed out on like, a week.
Some of the repeats were fun, others were stupid. It's just one week and then it'll be back to uniquity.

This is the way our Live Team Designer explained it, in her own words:
Quote:
We are aware of the shuffle that occurred with the available Zquests after the build. This one was my fault, I fixed a couple bugs in ones that had not come up yet and what I did has the side effect of restarting the whole system. I should have then had Joe instruct me in the special-coder-math that is needed to force the Zquests which are active the day of the build to be the first set available after the system reset, but I overlooked that step. I apologize for the inconvenience, but don't worry, those same quests will all come up again eventually. Since the issue would go away after half a day, I didn't feel it was necessary to put the team through the whole emergency build process just for this. Again, I'm sorry about all the confusion it has caused, I hope you all forgive me. =/ - Linsey talk 21:43, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

I think there were a couple of players, including myself, who were relying on the zmissions to hit their guardian titles.
Now that this has been reset, that activity has been left hanging. But the harm is not that devastating. It seems alittle random now, it is repeating some missions but the sequence is jumping back and forth in zmission history.
I wont mind getting those repeat missions again that I missed because I was out on a trip. But I can only wonder whether they would come again soon or I should just go ahead and do them now without corresponding zmission.
